It will definitely be more enjoyable for you if you’ve had some laps in these karts before you participate in a race. It’s also very helpful, even if you’ve had a little experience, for someone to give you some pointers on kart handling and the best line to drive at the track.

That’s we offer RAPS Practice Days for anyone associated with RAPS. First, RushHour is offering us a very special price for heats on selected RAPS Practice days. With a $15 RushHour membership, RAPS participants may purchase 10 heats for $75. That reduces the individual heat price from $17 to $7.50.

We will be on hand to provide instruction in RushHour’s briefing room, which is complete with a wall-size track map. We will then walk the track to point out some key areas and teach the best approach to driving those areas. Finally, with use of one of your purchased heats, we will take you out in the karts for “follow the leader,” which is one of the best ways to put it all together and learn the fastest, safest way around the track.

We encourage you to participate in RAPS Practice, whether for initial orientation or to hone your developing skills. Contact us if you are interested in participating. You may schedule a time as an individual or a group.
